鲁班尺，亦作“鲁般尺”，进行建筑设计和室内装饰时时所用的测量工具，类今工匠所用的曲尺。它从左至右共分四排，其分别是传统的寸、鲁班尺、丁兰尺、厘米四种标尺。鲁班尺相传为春秋鲁国公输班所作，后经风水界加入八个字，以丈量房宅吉凶，并呼之为“门公尺”。其八个字分别是：“财”、“病”、“离”、“义”、“官”、“劫”、“害”、“本”，在每一个字底下，又区分为四小字，来区分吉凶意义。
