Virpa is an educational game designed to teach 7 – 13 year old kids fire-safety.
The game places the player in a three floor school building with lots of things to discover, learn and complete. Locked rooms can be opened after scanning with the phone camera fire-safety signs in real buildings. This encourages kids to find this type of signs in public buildings.
Gold/Silver/Bronze Starts and Diploma are granted after completing learning objectives. Own avatar can be modified with collectable items. Fire hazards that spread through the building need to be identified. The game also includes three minigames (FireMan, Skateboard, and Extinguisher) to strengthen the learning topics.
